Today, I completed the Coast Range CrossFit Nutrition Challenge.

"This challenge was different than any other challenge I have tried in the past.  One thing that stood out immediately was that this was not only a nutrition challenge, it was a health challenge!  Focusing not just on what or what not to eat, the challenge also had us focus on hydration, exercise and the amount of sleep we were getting each night.  It showed us the benefits of other aspects of healthy living besides food.  Something else different about this challenge was the support system.  Starting with well-educated coaches, who are easy to reach out to if I had any questions.  The coaches are naturally positive people who want to see everyone improve themselves.  I was given a meal plan designed specifically for me by my coach and we would have weekly phone conversations where I would let him know how I was feeling and if there was anything else I wanted to talk about.  These phone conversations, along with keeping a daily food journal, really helped hold me accountable and continue pushing through the challenge.  Another support system was with the other participants!  A Facebook page was created and the group was able to share recipes with each other and give support throughout the 6 weeks!  It helped sharing meal ideas and temptations with others who were going through the same experience I was.  I would recommend this challenge to anyone looking to jump start their overall health and wellness!  Thank you Coast Range Nutrition!"

Since the Nutrition Challenge, Kyle has begun 1 on 1 nutrition coaching and continued to make healthy habits and lose body fat.
